Oh, I have a large cardboard box and several bags of clothes to donate. It's been sitting in my livingroom for several months some time. A perfect time to finally donate! Now, to get into town with the heavy summer tourist traffic...

I'm a worrier. I worry about events that haven't happened or may never happen, but could happen! So my mantra: Relax! Sheesh!
My husband will pick up some things on his way home from work, but for the most part I do the shopping. And I hate to shop...I go as little as possible with a list and get out just as quick as lines allow!
OK, confession time! I watched a season of "Little Women: LA". I don't even remember the network it's on. It just popped up somewhere and I was bored and clicked on it. So much drama...such a waste of time...but I got sucked in somehow. It's not MY fault!
that, went, honestly, absolutely, very, really, amazing, always, never, literally, just, maybe, stuff, things, and irregardless
Of the fifteen, which word is your most overused?
I'm not sure I overuse it, but I try not to use the word "things". There are more specific, descriptive words to use in place of that word. Sometimes it makes sense to use it though.
I'm FINALLY hip!
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)

Love the quote! I'm a worrier too... I think it comes with being a mom...lol. Have a great night.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Jill
I guess we'll be worrying forever then, huh, Jill? LOL
Delete"I'm Hip" - perfect answer! I must be too then. Your literary piece, another perfect answer. From the Hodgepodge! Try not to worry today - enjoy all you've been blessed with! :)
ReplyDeleteWe're trendy! LOL Although I'll admit to a little "altering" of my hair color...I'm not quite ready to follow the gray fad yet! ;) You're right - I am quite blessed!
DeleteYou're fun! I am surprised to hear you are a worrier. I have those tendencies. That is why my mantra is I will trust and not be afraid. :-) love your random thought!
ReplyDeleteI do try to have fun and light-hearted as much as possible. I used to be a terrible worrier, but not, with Him, I don't worry as much. My husband reminds me! LOL
Deleteshucks! I just colored my hair Sunday evening! I shop the same way you do, in and out! :)
ReplyDeleteNow you're not hip to the trend! LOL Most of the time I'm not either...
DeleteIsn't it funny how we will take stuff out of our clothes, homes, ect, and put them in a box or bag to take somewhere and it seems to not move. I admit to moving my clutter from the closet to the bag but don't always take the next step. You are not alone in your journey of purging closets!
ReplyDeleteWell, I figure we REALLY don't need the stuff if it continues to sit in boxes IN SIGHT and no one mentions them, asks for them or goes through the boxes. It's safe to go!
DeleteI'm kicking myself for not using a Bible verse for my quote! There are so many possibilities!

A bible verse was my first thought...and I couldn't think of anything better for the very first verse! I did ponder something else - a book? a movie? - but nothing came up.
DeleteI have been dejunking my house for a couple of years now - since I retired and everytime a box or bag heads out the door to goodwill I feel so much lighter!
ReplyDeleteMe too! I love organizing and decluttering! It's almost like you have new stuff when you can actually see what you have!
DeleteNice random thought! I think we should all strive to illuminate others. All the best this summer!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! You never know what our illuminates will do to another person...
DeleteOh I love your best line of literature - it has to be that or "in the beginning was the word..." doesn't it!
ReplyDeleteIt's the start of EVERYTHING...
DeleteLifetime...Little Women of LA is on Lifetime! I watched a few episodes, but now we don't have cable so I'm saved from that! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL So, Mary, you've watched it too? I don't have cable so I caught it online...
