Noah Justice, a 14-year-old boy, explores majestic and awe-inspiring natural areas in the U.S. in a series of DVDs filmed by his Dad, Kyle. These 30 minute DVDs include the Grand Canyon, meteor crater and petrified forest and Yellowstone and cost $14.99 each. (More videos are coming out this fall!)
Also available are study guides for each video that include summaries, vocabulary lists, concept lists, discussion questions, and additional activities. Well worth the $3.99 each from New Leaf Publishing!
As part of the New Leaf Publishing Group review team, we received "Explore the Grand Canyon" and "Explore Yellowstone" and the accompanying study guides. We found the videos an interesting mix of secular and creationism viewpoints with spectacular environmental visuals. And the kids really enjoyed Noah and these documentaries which discussed the formation of both areas! The summaries, vocabulary lists and discussion questions in the study guides are great for delving deeper into the information provided in the videos.
