I had to giggle a little at this week's Tuesday Coffee Chat prompt. You'll see why...
The last thing you took a picture of - Why did you capture this image? Show off your work!
Do you know how hard it is to do anything BUT call or answer calls on my, er, cell phone? It's the MOST touchy android I have had the frustration to own!
(It's a Samsung Galaxy BTW...)

It froze up 3 times to get this photo off my gallery onto Facebook so that I could save it onto my computer and share with you all.
Is there an easier way without a computer connector?

It takes terrible photos under even the best lighting conditions, but I wanted to send a "quick" snap to my fiance via text message showing the cowl I had just finished crocheting.
But it took SOOOO long to take the photo that I started moving!
What do you think? Frame worthy? LOL
Happy Chatting!
LOL - that is awesome though! Honestly, do you know how many selfies I delete - before there is one that is half descent? it's terrible. I do so hope those old bad shots are not floating around in cyberspace somewhere waiting for some iCloud hacker to discover them.
ReplyDeleteBut the cowl does look great - I LOVE the colour. My MIL actually just gave me my first knitting lesson over the weekend. And my middle daughter. We were doing fine while she was here, then suddenly I picked up the scarf we are knitting to add a row while my daughter is in school --- and discovered 17 stitches instead of 16. ooops.
So, it will be a funky scarf to say the least. LOL
Sometimes those extra (or lost) stitches don't matter so much...This cowl is super easy, made with chunky soft yarn. I think it might have took 2 hours to crochet? Definitely warm!
DeleteHilarious! I love the Chat topic this week! Mine is pretty funny, too. Oh the things we take photos of! And, nice cowl .... the part I can see that is focused! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nicole! LOL Some photos SHOULD be deleted, but that would have taken me another 10 minutes. :sigh:
DeleteI have come to embrace imperfect photos as quirky :) I love the cowl, btw! Hello from the Chat!
ReplyDeleteThanks for poppin' over, Kim! Some of these imperfect photos are the ones we treasure later...
DeleteI am a horrible horrible horrible selfie-taker. And I LOVE the cowl! Your stitches are so even!! It's been many MANY years since I've last crocheted - anything I make would probably look like it was done by a child. ;)
ReplyDeleteSeahawks and the Human Antennae; Christmas is still here; Coffee Chat in an RTT Rebel Kinda Way
I've always said if a stranger looked through my phone they would really wonder about me... ;-) As a homeschool blogger I take photos of the weirdest things sometimes! And don't get me started on selfies--I always hate them! PS The cowl is lovely, I love the color!
ReplyDeleteActually, not a bad picture! I cannot do a selfie at all...or won't...whatever. You did well!
