My motivation to work on my decluttering projects TOTALLY waned this week. I had to really push myself to get anything beyond "the usual" (i.e. laundry, dishes, trash, bathrooms, animals, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping...) done and hit those Fly Lady "hot spots"!
But I DID tackle some of those "dumping grounds" this week. It took MUCH longer than the 2 minutes Fly Lady suggests though. ((wink))

SOME of the curriculum on the way out! Feeling SO much better with less on the shelves because I saved the books that are most useful. |

I love to see clutter "undone". Keep going, Friend!
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing to me how the curriculum grows, isn't it? I have a bad habit of buying more than I'm ever going to need (because it was cheap at a garage sale and looked interesting at the time...) but I find that we always end up going back to our core set of books. Good job at cleaning it out!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that the truth! We've gotten a lot of stuff from a lot of place for free or very cheap, but the simple fact is that most of it we'll never use and I just don't have the shelf space for it.
DeleteI am a huge Flylady fan. I did not know she has started a video series. That is great. Thanks for sharing your progress!
ReplyDeleteGreat work on clearing out more clutter and great work on being picked one of 100 Best Homeschooling blogs :) Way to go!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! It's so hard to do
ReplyDeleteLooking at your curriculum out - Alyssa is doing the complete united states history one this year. I like it!!
ReplyDeleteOH! I love the Fly lady!! I try hard to keep up with her, but this week is a wash. Well, not literally, as my washer is broken and the pile is growing. ARGH!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit today. I'm looking forward to getting to know you. :)
Forget the hot spots, I want to learn how my house will practically clean itself!
